Rift Valley Beat Orientation
An orientation for reporters covering the Rift Valley counties, built around what is actually published locally and when. Covers county assembly proceedings, agricultural and land administration records, water resource committees and the annual cycle of local reporting opportunities. Suitable for reporters new to the region or moving from national to local coverage.

Deadline Writing Practice
Practical work on producing a clear, accurate piece under time pressure without cutting the checks that matter. Covers deciding the one thing the piece must establish, drafting in a fixed order so no stage is skipped, and a short final check that catches the errors most likely to appear when hurried.

Regional Correspondent Support Package
Support for reporters filing regularly to national or regional outlets from outside the capital. Covers building a reliable weekly rhythm, keeping a forward diary of predictable local events, managing several commissioning editors at once, and knowing when a local story genuinely warrants national attention.
